Rival game masters Baron the Blade, and goodhearted but shy Gus are locked in a very one sided rivalry for players, notoriety, and the attentions of Margot, an Elven Druid in the daylight world of their Beasties & Bygones games but a single human by night. Gus makes a play for her but will Baron's attempts to lure her into his wanton life of affected British accents, Renaissance Faires and geek worship.
